Joey received his Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia. He joined the Berenson-Allen Center as a Clinical Research Assistant in August of 2017. He is working with Dr. Michael Fox to analyze functional connectivity MRI data in relation to the investigation of TMS and tCS for the treatment of neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases.
Personal Interests / Hobbies:
In his free time, Joey enjoys getting outdoors with friends and finding areas to hike and backpack. He also plays the violin and is learning to play fiddle.
Joey plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in neurology. He hopes to continue working on developing neuromodulatory treatments for neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases.
