Ruth received a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a MSc. in Biomedical Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain in 2010. She is currently a PhD candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the Biomedical Engineering and Telemedicine Centre from the same university (GBT-UPM). She joined the Berenson-Allen Center as a Research Student in October of 2013 to conduct research for her PhD thesis on cognitive processes modeling.
Personal Interests / Hobbies: When Ruth is not working in the lab, she enjoys dance fitness, spending time with her friends, cooking, reading, traveling, and discovering Boston.
Personal Goals: Ruth ultimately plans to complete her PhD in Biomedical Engineering and to stay closely connected to the field of neuroscience and cognitive rehabilitation.
